What is sonic welding?

Sonic Welding is when high-frequency ultrasonic vibrations are applied to products that are clamped together to produce a solid-state weld. The process converts electrical energy (from the welder) to ‘motion’ within the products, which softens the material joints, allowing the two materials to join together.

Our experience

At RGM we use hand held pistol welders, with a vast array of different sonotrodes to weld a wide range of assemblies. With years of experience in welding, we can offer all of these years of expertise to ensure a finished product of the highest of standards.
